He is also a Business Developer and Marketing Consultant for prominent companies in the Pro Audio, MI and Music Education market. 100% Vinyl addicted and collector, he better express his passion and devotion to music on stage.
In his electronic music productions as in the Dj sets there is a feel of profound love for Italo Deep House music, which is definitely one of his biggest inspirations in electronic music.
He produced music for prominent international artists and composed several scores for Movies and TV programs, while as a musician he played with different Bands, being opening act for prominent artists such as Oasis, Skunk Anansie, Pearl Jam, Stereophonics, Jamiroquai, Killers, Red Hot Chili Peppers etc. etc. During his career he has released music with different projects for important labels such as the legendary “King Street Sounds” from New York, “Trax Records” from Chicago and “Nervous Records” from NY, definitely three of the most pioneering labels in the House Music scene; the “Robsoul Records” from the french “House Music guru” Phil Weeks, the German disco “Jolly Jams” Label; the Florence based “Tenax Recordings ” for which is also one of the A&R since January 2018; the notorious “Siesta Records” from San Diego; “Resopal Shallware” from Berlin etc. etc. having stunning feedbacks from the most important Djs around the world.
Recently was released the debut album from under:tones, an electronic music project which Matteo composed, produced and performed alongside the Italian DJ hero Alex Neri. The under:tones concept is focused on the many shades of electronic music. Matteo is the former drummer for Planet Funk band, one of the most important electronic music band in Europe and he was a founder member of the “Trikobalto” band, with which in the early 2000s he has trodden prestigious stages and released music for “Sony Music” in Italy and France. He is one the resident Djs for the legendary TENAX club in Florence, one of the most important House Music Club worldwide since 30 years.He is also a resident Dj for the Paradox night at the EGG club in London.
